Woman on Purpose is a faith-based service organization that has been in service to the community since 2006. The organization was born out of the vision of our founder and Chairwoman/CEO Pastor Bola Adepoju, who was charged with the duty to minister to women of all ages, races, and ethnic backgrounds and to empower women to be all God created them to be. Woman on Purpose looks beyond the spiritual needs of the individual and approaches women in a more holistic manner as a member of a family and a community.

As the Chairman and CEO of Woman on Purpose, Inc., Pastor Bola Adepoju feels that she has found the perfect fit. “I believe that God called me and prepared me for this assignment as I look back on my life.” She identifies with the undeserved and cares enough to get out and reach out. She is not afraid to go into the trenches to pray and minister God's message of life and hope to those whose dreams have been dashed by misfortune. She says, “I find joy in seeing the works of God's hands when He takes His people where He wants them to be – On Purpose”. Bola has overcome some challenging times in her own life and her experiences have made her faith even stronger and have led her to dedicate her life to helping others transform their circumstances, and discover God's unique plan of destiny for their lives. Prior to starting Woman on Purpose, Bola has partnered in pioneering several non-profit organizations. “I feel the opportunity to be part of a vision for transformational change in lives of people every day is a great responsibility and privilege, whether it is through motivating and empowering people to be more, or through the various outreach programs offered by the organization or restoring people to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ or stirring an urgency for people to discover their God-ordained destinies.” She considers it a privilege to see lives altered every day. She also looks forward to witnessing to brothers and sisters on the streets who are transformed and fulfilling God's plan, purpose, and mandate for their lives, coming off the streets, and finding their way out of homelessness into a new life. He vision is to see people who are delivered crossing the threshold and “Paying it Forward”. Bola lives her life “On Purpose”. She lives by the motto: “There is nothing God cannot do. With God on your side, there is nothing you cannot do. The only person that can stop you, is you!” Pastor Bola is a preacher, conference speaker and prophetic intercessor. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Spelman College and her Master's in Business Administration from Atlanta University, both in Atlanta. Pastor Bola is a Human Resources professional and has to her credit several professional certifications, including SHRM–CP and IPMA-CP. She is a registered mediator in the State of Georgia and a graduate and Fellow of Black Women in Ministerial Leadership (BWML) program of the office of the Black Women in Church and Society, Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She is married to Dr. Olatunde Adepoju and they are blessed with two beautiful adult children and grandchildren.
